You caught me on my darkest day I made a deal with the devil He said he'd give me God If I gave him my soul Well now I have no God And I have no soul But the letters sealed I signed my name in blood I'm left here Empty and alone I have nothing Not even the promise of tomorrow I made a deal with the devil He said he'd give me God If I have him my soul But you're not as beautiful As you were on my darkest day January 9th 2009 Emily Shives |

Nice twist at the end Emily. The phrasing of this piece captured my attention right away. Good write! Eric |
