Was I someone you weren't meant to remember? Just another bad dream you lie awake to forget? You can take me as a joke, and walk away, But who's going to see you through this? Your memories wedged inside my mind, Like the knife stuck in my back. And everything you're screaming at me, Latches onto my heart, eating me away. If I remove myself from this equation, Would you be better off? If I'm X and you're Y, then there's no solution. You can't solve for nothing. If you had another shot at this would you take it? Um shivering, bleeding, begging for just a moment, A moment of your time. I disappear inside your eyes. And I finally realize, You weren't meant for me to remember. January 9th 2009 Emily Shives |

Emily You surely do so well when you write. The pain in this is put across perfectly. Eric |
