Sweet buttercup kiss me till our lips bleed.      Yellow and Cream.

Your face in my hands.
                                              Lillies and buds.

Silly girl, bleed for me, bleed for me, open your seeds for me.
                             I'll only make them grow.

   The flower you gave me has not died.
                                                                      Ruby lipped and black tipped.

But I wonder, is it yours? and is it mine?

In my Dreams, I know not the limits of your love.
                                                          Nor the colors or textures of them.

                           Till the morning bleaches my eyes.

In those moments  Before the Burn,
           I see all the shapes of age, and lines of love.

They grow together.  They give their light, and in taking, are brighter.

                Melting white.  Dripping blue.  Empty pits.

And I don't see again till night.
