In the deep of the darkest time of night The caress of darkness on your skin Is a fresh breath from somewhere within And chases out the cruel, cruel light Whispers of words just for you Freeze the senses shared Leaves the mind impaired This, the night created for two Refuge from the cares of the day Sanctuary of touch and taste The last dark hours not to waste Keeps us here in this way Every moment is a gift given Enchanted time, nocturnal bliss Never wanted anything more than this In the deep of the night, living |
