I have heard your poetry,
and it spoke to me.
It showed their true self,
their lives, their struggles,
their happiness, their pains.
Some bloom into beauty's, some
stayed in their delicate form.
They danced, singed, yelled, and
brighten. Some found love, friends,
light, a hiding place, a home.
Crossing meadows, mountains, reality
and fantasy.
But mostly they bring the best
out of you.
they are like your kins, or thy self.
They wander about, exploring their
surroundings.
They cry, they smile, they become angry,
and some just are plain silly.
They hold on to the you that is here,
the you of the past, and the you
in the future.
They bring out our emotions,
shimmering for another generation.
