                Problem Cured

Tom took advice from his long -suffering wife,
Even though he knew she was a bit of a cynic,
As he hadn’t been feeling to well of late,
She made him go down to the local Quack’s clinic.

As he sat in the waiting room waiting his turn,
He was surprised when a Nun came out of Doc’s room,
She was tall and quite slim and white as a ghost
And on her face  was an expression of doom.

Being his turn, into the surgery he stepped
And then sat down in the Doc’s waiting chair,
When the doctor said,“Did you see that poor Nun,”
Tom was really surprised as it was not his affair.

Now this poor Nun went to see the Doc for relief
As she’d  had a bad attack of hiccups for a week
She had taken a great amount of different pills
But nothing would work in her cure to seek

Said Doc,“A very grave problem I told her she had
And the first question she asked me was what,
And when I told her that she was pregnant for sure,
She wasn’t, but it cured her hiccups on the spot.”

Yo LindsayP,

Yes, by George, that just might work.

ROFL... I've always heard that a shock or a scare will cure them... guess she got both! LOL

Well done, my friend... I enjoyed! *S*

To four of my very good friends, Hope, Eric,
Balladeer and Helen, I'm so glad that you all had a chuckle, for laughter is the best

way to lighten your problems, for it is impossible to laugh and be downcast at the same time. Keep smiling folks. I love you all.
