Lord, I pray to receive some direction. Tell me there’s no way to achieve perfection. I can’t do this alone, which is just how I feel. Show me Lord that your mercy is real. Give me some guidance, show me a sign, Let me know this broken path’s mine. That there is some lesson I’ve got to learn, And as soon as it’s over I’ll get my turn. To bask in your glory, and take a break, Reflect on the issues I thought were mistakes. To know this experience does come to an end, We’ll be back together with passed family and friends. And the burdens we bare, and the battles we fight, are one day gone like a thief in the night. To trust and to love is no easy feat, To give or to take from the people we meet. It can feel like forever in a world of pain, And some grow weary from the maddening strain. But reach out to us God and give us your hand, As we try to navigate and leave hope in your land. |

A prayerful plea that is sure to reach God's Ear. We are all works in progress. Earth life certainly isn't easy! God reaches a helping Hand out to us. ~ But sometimes it is hard to see it in the dark.
