A ladybug
And butterfly
And not all
That far away
A robin sings

A squirrel
And duck
On the same
Green lawn
First buds on
A willow tree

An open window
In the afternoon
White ships of clouds
Blue sky and sea

I’m sure
There’re things
Deserving
Deeper pondering
But not today
