Descartes Filled Whisper Wells Pleasant yearning overtakes the stillness Required here, only for the turquoise brought to water In prayer, my heart recants fluently its needs Pondering the wetted hollows of canyon sighs Measuring the angle of repose, sifting first the soil Then accounting for the heights of sky Winter here is far from dry Deluge of emotions rain in me While faith encircles shuddered shoulders In its intuitive knowing, all will be well, even still Cascading circles top the surface, nurture of nature Lest my lips be plump, or my hips be flat Landscapes worth exploring are not rigid And if the ration of reason would be chisel Then I am but the broken flakes of granite faces Good stock, in the pond of my own potential Beauty is timeless, so I will rub oil into muscle Let yearning gather in a hidden lake Crochet lace above the knee And paint a shamrock In secret places Near the falls Copyright Kkh 4/12/09 |

Well, he always promoted unprejudiced search for the truth, that's a for sure. I like how you've linked your feelings up with the same approach with a delightful amount of ambiguity. This is very nice.... WOW. Too many outstanding lines to focus on one. Sensual earthy imagery, tastefully presented. I always enjoyed reading Descartes, perhaps, 'tis time to read again. |
