you said something about feeding the cat
and some dust on the windows needed to be moved
to another side of the room for now at least

my hands made sigh sounds on your jeans
like they were asking them to drape over a chair
and just be voyeurs to what we wanted to do

when you had the sun on your shoulders
and your eyes were closed that way you do
just before you open them wide and say things

that I would not write down in public
I guess you heard the same sounds also
when you slipped your fingers under my leather

and held me just close enough to really want to

Interesting poem had to read it twice which is a good thing i don't have much attention span
But the second reading i understood it more
