there were echoes of thunder between those limbs that were green with envy perhaps of the freedom of our metal wings I glanced upward to her balcony to dream of how heaven would be, pretending wet to ink the lips of my parchment she was in another man's colors of morning wet breast reflections she kept concealed except for her most vivid descriptions and a promise of how her heart was there too just under the surface beyond the lonely breakable for the taking kind of skin a gentle man begins what he must never finish ______________ daark (wishbone whiskey) |
