Robins serenade the dawn,
bringing smiles
to early birds like me
who listen intently
for happiness sounds.

Rise and greet the day,
make it what you wish.
Perception and attitude
set the parameters,
define the moments.

Be happy.

Kacy, I loved every millimeter of this!  If I had read the poem with no title and no author, I would have known it was yours!

Yo dear Kacy,

It's always good to be happy in the morning, it pays.

Bones and I always smile in the mirror and then splash our face with cold water to freeze the smile there.  It always works.

And if you would be happy, then you could.  I think I will, thank you.

Thanks!
It's howling winds I'm hearing this morning, the robins are all hunkered down beneath the bushes.

Oh dear!  The poor little robins.  Hope the wind doesn't do any damage or blow too cold!  Either way, it would be nice to have a Kacy-poem about it - hint, hint!

Just love the positive nature of this message. I know the setting and it's a wonderful peaceful time.

All should take a lesson from these precious lines.

Great stuff Kacy!

This is a perfect example of living in the moment.  If you decide to be happy, then you can be.

Very wise lines.

Kacy,

I really love getting up early and hearing the Robins in the Chokecherry trees.  I am not one who loves to roll out of bed, but once I am on my feet, I do enjoy the songs of the morning.

Bird songs can lighten a heavy spirit, encourage one to fly beyond the brambles.
Thanks to each, hope you enjoy their songs.
