 Artist: Chiu Land of Love and Light by Linda L. Dowd Silvery beams of moonlight, Slid down from starry skies. They slipped between the shutters, And kissed my sleeping eyes. As I lie still in silence, I dreamt of faery realms. Tiny folk trilled merry songs, And danced ‘round ancient elms. Unicorns were fleet of foot. Rose garlands hung from manes. Clouds were cotton candy, And gumdrops lined the lanes. Houses made of gingerbread, Were lit by fire flies. Lakes were green, and grass was blue, White dragons streaked pink skies. Castles glowed with crystal light. The flowers bloomed forever. Colors never seen before, ~ Graced realm of balmy weather. Zephyr winds blew soft and warm. The stars shone every night. Lilacs wafted in the air, In this land of love and light. Birds were happy all the time. They chirped and sang all day. Life was nice and easy, And all would sing and play. Silvery beams of moonlight, Slid down from starry skies. They slipped between the shutters, And kissed my sleeping eyes. . |

I loved this Linda. I've always had a soft spot for fantasy, wouldn't it be great if the holy paladin really could end all evil? Or the wise old mage truly held all the answers? And I have to say that the graphic is stunning as well. In these lonely halls no moon will weep, no sun will shine. |
