Jade as your eyes, softly still,
serene in their liquid longing
deep, into you my thoughts soar.

Is it in your eyes that I see,
or is it that I only abide there
in your quest for tranquility?

Alas. I am not the only one
to swim in the iris of your heart.
Once as was a longing for others
you possessed at the start.

As the years pressed on,
you found in their eyes,
misfortune, sorrow's fate,
broken hands tied.

With my love, I can only
wipe away bitter tears,
as fate eroded the
youth of your years.

Gently, mend each piece,
as your broken dreams part,
with a truest love born
from the depths of my heart.

I cannot heal all the scars their
time has claimed. Permitted
on your soul as a cavern the
gold miners craved.

Now that I am in your eyes,
