The poet awaits in his house of dreams Weaving words from visionary scenes. The birds and flowers, the stars and the moon, Or perhaps the sound of a mournful tune. Lovers walking hand in hand. Cactus in the desert sand. A lighthouse beckoning from ashore. A broken heart with love no more. A mother's tender warm embrace, Or just a smile on her face. Inspired by so many things Ink to paper it starts to sing. |

Thank you all for stopping by to read and comment. They are all very much appreciated. It has been a while since I tiptoed in and it's nice to be back reading and posting again and seeing so many new poets. Eloise |
