A star fell from the sky today
Now forever gone away.
Whispered words are sent tonight
Through shadows of the soft twilight.

There is nothing that can compare
To loving a special love so rare.
While sitting here thinking of you
Peaceful thoughts are again renewed.

Many tears still left to cry
Because a star fell from the sky.

Thank you so much for your comments.  They are very much appreciated.  No we haven't met as it has been a good while since I've been by, but plan to be around again for awhile.

Your poem means a lot to me... both because I'm missing someone... lots *S*... and because I saw the most beautiful falling star ever 10 days ago. *S* I'm still waiting on that wish. *S*

Beautiful write!!

Eloise,

Welcome home to Passions.

I am sorry for your recent loss. I hope that
you will spend time here in the blue pages
and listen and discern those who care, and
those who share, so that your life may soon
once again, feel near to whole.

Just as your poem reads.

A comet is a moment that we continue to
search for.

Be well, and we'll talk soon.

Bill - Thanks for the comment, I try to write from within.

suthern - Thank you and I hope your wish finds you.

greytree - Thanks and I appreciate you stopping by and reading.  Welcome to Passions.

Sunshine -  Thank you for your thoughts and you read well between the lines.  I lost my mom just recently and I wrote this for my dad.  61 years together and he's just lost without her, but we are making it one day at a time.
