Having Your Cake And Eating It

My body and soul I gave to you
my vow to stay faithful to the end
I agreed to honor and obey you
but you left me for my best friend,

Didn't I do enough of the house work
give you three beautiful kids
was I not there for everything you asked of me
but you betrayed me for a sordid kiss

You told me you couldn't be without her
and she was the love of your life
I remember you saying that to me once
that's how I ended up your wife,

You said you wanted to divorce me,
with that I have no hesitation at all
But she has gone back to her husband
"and now I" am having a ball,
