Please let me know if you think it's better than centered

Mans Humanity

When in me I find lack of self worth
the confidence I need to live in a dominant world
of positive people that form the way of mans society today
I grieve for the way I have let myself down
why can I not see what I am doing to my self- worth?
have I been born with blinkers?
do I not possess the knowledge of how to be happy?
If only I knew how to be of the same worth as those possessing confidence,

I cry in despair to the outer reaches of the universe
for the answer to my frustration
why will you not help me “GOD”?
why did you leave me with my self-doubt?

I sat for an eternity and waited for an answer
finely I received it, after turning over every thought
turning it over and over in my mind hoping for salvation
“GOD” told me my answer,

Out of all my children I have put on the earth man-child or beast
it was to man I gave my most precious gift
for you to love; laugh, and cry
your self-worth is not what you think of you
your self- worth is how others see you
With unclouded eyes and clarity of innocence,

Be proud that you possess this ability also
when you unconditionally love your children
when you correct an injustice
and in addition, most of all when you look back on your life and see
what you have achieved in the short span of a lifetime
Your self-worth is not in you! It is in your humanity,
