There are things, Mother, that you do not know Like who I am and where I go But every day your voice says the same thing: "Girl, don't you go too fast. "Live but make the moments last There'll be time for dying when you're my age" But, Mother, I feel so suffocated. All my hopes and dreams have faded. Should I run or stand still? I'm afraid to fall.... So afraid to move at all And I can't have what I need the most. Oh, Mother, I've found my angel The one who wouldn't change me And I would never leave him Not for anything you could dream to give me Oh, Mother, he has my heart Had it from the very start And for once I am truly me I'm truly happy Oh, Mother, I'm so in love He's the one I want I've found the one I need And when I wasn't looking He became my everything All my hopes and dreams have come to light I'm dancing in the sun I've fallen and it's so amazing His smile stills my very soul And dear Mother, at last I'm whole I have what I need the most Oh, Mother, I've found my angel The one who will never change me And I will never leave him No, not for all the world Dear Mother, he has my heart Had it from the very start And for once I am truly me I'm truly happy Oh, Mother, I'm so in love He's the one I want I've found the one I need And now that I am looking I see he's become my everything Oh, Mother, I'm so in love He's the one I want I've found the one I need And now that I am looking I see he's become my everything Oh, Dear Mother, I'm not sorry that I love him. |

Mothers tend to be "overcaring", but children need to learn to fly on their own. Usually the relationship Mother-daughter works better at distance. The best kind of love is the unconditional love no doubt. We are all learning. Beautiful write. Love, Margherita |
