Crystal Waters Crystal clear waters A cool gentle breeze The quiet of the ocean Where life lives and breathes The rain starts to fall One drop at a time Then more and more To create a tide, The white water falls And kisses the sand Like the soft touch Of god's gentle hand, The beauty of the sea It is willing to share And gives of its life With love and tender care, We sit in wonder Of the mysteries of the deep Then leave it to grow With restful sleep. Yo dear Anniepimm, What's with all the commas, why is the text centered? I'd avoid starting each line with a cap. Love Bobby |

I am here to learn as well as write so i thank you for your comments, this poem was done i few years ago, and i center them because i prefer them like that not all people like all things, May i ask you why you don't center yours? your answer would probably be the same as mine. I am very dyslexic and i have over the years taught myself to write as it wasn't recognised at schools when i was younger, I was classed as illiterate, so was pushed to the back... And i have learned from patience and practice to write.. |

Dear Anniepimm, I always left justify my work, as that is the acceptable way to present your poetry to modern day publishers. Since I write for money, I try to please the people with the checkbook. Center justification is old and antiquated. Love Bobby |

Well then it's in good company with me as I am old and antiquated myself, Your very lucky to make money at it, I have been writing for 40 years and never got a penny.. Lets just say you cater for the masses While i please myself... and leave it at that..

That is a shame Bobby as i need all the help i can get, and there are times when i am totally at a loss about the right way to write, I was never taught properly how to put words down correctly, And i am self taught, which isn't good, That's why i value yours and others comments To help me grow and develop my writing into something to be proud of like yours... So i do hope you wont abandon me altogether Thank you for you patience... Annie |
