Soaked in tears all morning, My thoughts repeat in a vicious cycle- Til my body goes numb- And my mind drifts in a fog of depression- That borders on obsession. I can't relieve this aggression- Nothing will make it go away. The pain is always there... Chipping away at my very soul.... Til' I'm left naked and bare... Sometimes I wanna scream- Sometimes I wanna bawl. Scream until my throat is raw.. Cry until I drift off to dream... I ask myself... How did it go this far...yet again.. Why? How...WHY?!!!! But my sobs go unheard...ignored... Once more I try to block it out... Try to shut it out... But it's so hard- When you can't even be heard... No longer will I pretend- That I'm the one the blame. But without you, my friend- Nothing will ever be the same.... "The more you suffer, the more it shows you really care.." ~ The Offspring |
