This is (I believe) only the third time that I have done a 're-posting.'
I am doing so now simply as a tribute to both classical and (hopefully)
post-modern poetic Romanticism and to folks like 'Windhover';
'A Romantic Heart'; 'JamesMichael'; etc. who often 'pen' in said vein
(as I once had fine reason to do)

This was my 'entry' post in "P.I.P.-land by the cyber-sea ...
(written to a 'lost love' in Scotland):

   Will you remember me?!

In the crimson sunrise
When the world's new promise
And all fair dreams arise...
Will you remember me?!

In the flaming sunset
When the world is mellow
And all long cares depart...
Will you remember me?!

In the spring's first blossom
When the world renews
And all old 'hurts' unwind...
Will you remember me?!

In the summer's sunshine
When the world seems young
And all new hopes unfurl...
Will you remember me?!

In the Autumn's passion
When the world retreats
And all warm feelings change...
Will you remember me?!

In the Winter’s sadness
When the world reflects
And all old wounds reopen...
Will you remember me?!

Very nice Bruce.
Love the reference to all the seasons with the repetition for emphasis to set the theme.
Very nice reflections in the form of questions and a lovely tribute to those romantic poets.

I'm glad you reposted this, as I missed it the first time around.

I think how we will be remembered and perhaps how we are percieved is less important than how we answer to ourselves, and even more about forgiving ourselves.  Everyone is entitled to their own interpretatoins which we have no control over.

My ten cents for the day!
Enjoyed your poem very much, dreampoet~

Dear Bruce, you write romanticism very well! Every now and then we remember "them" and wonder if "they" remember too ... and will we ever know!??

Beautiful!

Love,
Margherita

I believe that a man who could pen such glowing and loving thoughts, would surely be remembered.

Bruce,

You are never forgotten, I would miss you and your poetry, I read and I am inspired by your soft, eloquent romanticism.

I may not post every time, but I do read all of your poems. Thank you, for your words of honor and kindness.

I wish to be remembered as a romantic poetess, whose siren calls flowed out unto the wind, the universe, crying for her love...
