Bones only friends
are Marika,
Butch,
Wawa,
and Felix.

He knows no one else.

None of them go
to school.

He sleeps most of the day,
wakes up at night,
and hits his corner,
to work the streets.

Marika,
Butch,
Wawa,
and Felix,
they have
their own corners.

They meet
just as the sun
peeps over the horizon,
shoot a few hoops,
get a bite to eat
at the Paradise Diner,
then head on home
to get some sleep.

It’s their netherworld,
it’s all that they know,
they own it.

i know you don't want me to feel sorry for Bones, but I do. it's my mothering instinct. You make him very real to me.

It's okay to feel sorry for Bones. I always felt sorry for him. Of course, he was very real to me. He was a good friend.

Bobby, I was thinking the same thing Joyce wrote. You make
these poems so real, it feels like I'm seeing a film of
the life of Bones. I need to read them in order. I have to
leave soon, so I will be back later to read more of them.

I'm pleased that Bones is real to you. The "Bones" book will be coming out possibility this year, and surly next year.
