Carnival lights and the county fair,
it's just too much for me to bear,
so I went to call you on the phone-

thoughts of you ringin' through my head
I want you here with me instead,
want you to come back on home...

'stead of rolling down highway 4-9-1

(can't stop drivin')

Come to me now, here by my side
be here on your knees-

I'm on mine and it's true,
I really can't wait to please.

It don't matter none 'bout the work out there,
I love you and I don't wanna be without you.
You know now since this marriage we got
it's gonna be all about you.
