True Meadow Romance

Meadow midday, sun in raise!
Hot air quiver,
In each phase.
Water flows adding River.

Butterfly dancing thinning air.
Dragonfly break fly,
Long grass weaving hair
Frogs jump away so shy.

Cold water dancing crystalline.
Goldenrod and poppy seed,
Meadow lark sing unseen.
Blue sky heavenly indeed.

Sound of Crickets Bullfrog deep.
Trees along the passage way,
Smell heavy air so sweet.
Catching each and every ray,
Sing along.. redeep..redeep.

Lady bug buzzing free,
It’s reciprocating dance.
See what I See,
A True Meadow Romance.

To enhance romance is surely one of the reasons of being of a meadow, such as you describe it so beautifully!

Greatly enjoyed.

Smiled all the way through, Helmut...
I could even imagine that it was a
scene you painted...in oils.

Beautiful!

I would enjoy seeing this scene unfold!
Summer really is a symphony of sound, a profusion of colors and scents to greet the eyes and nose.
Thanks for sharing this meadow romance.

How delightful!!!! Your vivid descriptions engaged all my senses! Nature at it's finest! ~ as is your pen!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this reading experience!

Tra la la la lala! You make me feel like singin' and dancin' and buzzin' like a bee! lol

Hang on! This cold Canadian winter will soon be behind us!

Lovely to see you still appreciate and write (lovingly and with obvious awe) of God's often overlooked creations. I have always enjoyed your unique and simple phrasing. It gives the poem a life-like tenderness all its own.

To all of you
I dearly thank you from within my heart
You all unique and with such gentle art
Your words engulf my poetic needs to ink words in prose and praise.
Thank you
So so much
Also there is a smile, a big smile on my face today, you.......you know as to why
My Friend!

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
