Dark and cold my world once was,
Hopeless,and lonely with no love.
Bitter tears running down my face,
while thinking of when I would leave this place.
To be far from all these petty things,
so far from all the pain it brings.
Then you came into my life,
and things started to feel alright.
Where there was darkness you shed the light,
Filling my world with golden sunlight.
Warming my heart with a love so true,
now my only dream is to be with you.
