The rain drops In shiny pearls Hitting the ground With silent satisfaction Making it's way Noiselessly The sky once clear Is now a blue overcast The smell, fresh, vibrant Fills my nose Giving me comfort I stare at the rain Mesmerized The drops Cleanse the Earth Feed the plants Soften the ground Comfort me Hug me The drain drops Fall from the sky In shiny pearls With silent satisfaction ------------------ Sita aka Sunflower sunflower_sita@ hotmail.com |
