These excusions to nowhere do nothing for me, I'm filling this hole with another hole, I'm tired of all the effort it takes to hold on to save this frail, thin body from drowning its lips and cheeks etched in blue I sit and watch as you disentangle yourself from the whole operation turning off life support and pulling out I.V.s, running away in the neon flicker of hospial beds, but still you claim things are the same And when you complain that i am the one letting go, giving up I lie and say I'll stay But what i mean is: give me a reason not to leave |

A very deep intense poem, and so very true. I hope to see more of your poems, I have a feeling they'll be really good. Raven |

Wow. This is a really deep thought out poem. It's definately one of the best I've heard. It really relates to me in a way. Thanks for sharing it. ------------------ *OoOoAudrey AuoOoO* "Music is my life, without it, I would not be alive." |
