I wrote this poem on a day where I felt so trapped by other people's problems. Hero: I’m not a hero Or a saint But a human being Not soaring above standards Or standing far back I’m in the middle of everything Of your life and hers Trying to be a hero That I’m not And a saint To save you And everyone else. I give it all to God To save everyone For I have cried And I have weeped And my strength is gone. |

Sometimes we really know how human we truly are, don't we? Good job on your poem. ------------------ *Dusk Treader* pacing the path between dark and light. |

Your poem tells exactly how i feel sometimes when everyone comes running to me with their boyfriend/girlfriends problems, and expect me to know all the answers. They forget I'm a person too, with problems and issues of my own. I hope to see more of your poetry Jackie ------------------ "They sing the stories of the present, of people trapped in a shadow world" ~Charlotte Seley~ |
