We were not afraid, in earlier year To leave our houses alone and unbarred. Holidays were full of close family cheer. Now divorce and hate has left our kids scarred. These days we're afraid of cureless desease, From the queer trends and twisted ideals. With Satan's mindless thought of oddities, Our children's hearts, minds, and bodies he steals. This world has become the Devil's dark lair And almost everyone here would agree When a pure soul tries to gasp for fresh air It gets choked dead with pride and vanity ------------------ Brock J.
