there were so many times i just wanted to cry, and with so many attempts i just wouldnt die. just like the weak; who manage to be strong, and how others fit in, when they dont belong, like the unhappy ones who manage to smile, like the ones who need help, but live in denial, we're the ones who make the world go round, we're one in a million in every town, we are the ones who are always dreaming, in the back of our minds a voice is screaming, *RESCUE ME* there were so many times i wanted to laugh, like the little boy smiling in the photograph, that was me in that picture, surrounded with toys, a portrait of youth, a cute little boy, and there were so many times i've cried, i still remember the day my sister died, her tiny body wouldnt make a sound, i wanted to die cause God let me down, since that day i never stopped dreaming, in the back of my mind a voice is screaming. *rescue me* *rescue me* |

This a very beautiful poem. The feeling of losing happiness of one's childhood is something I all to much can relate to. I loved your poem. Thank you for sharing. |

Reminds me of Counting Crows' Adam Dirwitz (spelling)? Very soulful. ------------------ Anonymous Web Poet |
