She let him go. Down. To the heart of the ocean. To swallow him up for eternity. Forever helpless. Having always a silent plea for help. A perfect face In an imperfect world. His youth, life, and beauty, Are forever lost, And never more. She shouldn't have let him go If one jumps, The other jumps. The law of love. He, giving his life for hers. She, too naive to comprehend, Made a promise to live. The promise, she kept. He, knowing his fate, Stayed silent. A love too perfect to last. His only existence, In her heart, In her memories, In her past. With their souls linked, Two became one. And she never let him go... |

I can almost hear these words being read over the Titanic Theme music....excellent job of capturing the movie's feel in the art of poetry, Domina. ------------------ *Krista Knutson* |
