I have a friend who is 18 and she is engaged. Alot of people are saying that she is too young. (By the way she just got engaged last week) I dont think so. If she ruins her life its her own fault cause I cant answer for her and I cant change her mind. So do you think shes too young??? People leave our lives as quickly as they come, but the ones that mean something leave footprints in our hearts. |

I don't. I think it all depends on the person. You've heard the saying "age is just a number," and I think it is. Some people at 18 act as if they had already hit the middle ages, while others are still acting like two-year-olds. I am sure that your friend knows her own heart, and like you said, if she does something that will ruin her life, it is ultimately up to her. (I am not trying to say that we should just stand back and watch people ruin their lives, however.) She's engaged--they can break it off at any time if they feel they made the wrong decision. Hmmmm, well Erin, I got engaged when I was 17, (almost 18) just after graduation from high school and...on October 2nd, we'll be married 30 years...yeah, it can work. Like Elizabeth said, it really depends on the two people involved... Congratulations to your friend. Bonnie |

Well I think i'll have to agree with Elizabeth..........ON EVERYTHING!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
