One of my absolute fave movies is Monty Python "Quest for the Holy Grail", my ALL TIME fave is "Princess Bride".... That movie has more funny quotes in it than  I can count. I also love "So I Married an Axe Murderer". I agree that the British have the most fun kind of humoUr around, dry and hard to catch sometimes LOL. My kids also make me laugh. My silly dog who has just learned to shake and she shakes everything..including my foot. Our insane cat, Tulipon keeps us rolling. I just think life was made for laughter, if we allow it to be so!

Some of my email really tickles me. Irony is real high on my list and Brit humour. I like Fawlty Towers on BBC and Are You Being Served. Another thing that makes me laugh is when this silly half grown kitten attacks my dog and wrestles him to the ground and then proceeds to wash his face. I love it! Alot of the poetry around here makes me go into hysterics at times and some of the replies are priceless!! And just about any song done by Cletus T Judd

Speaking of British humor, anyone remember that show  Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em?  With Michael Crawford? (who, BTW, is my idol) that show was hilarious!

Dry humour - Brit comedy, particularly Red Dwarf and Harry Enfield - hope you get them over there Devine...

The antics of kittens, a joke from a friend, being tickled, my own innate clumsiness, swimming on a brilliant day in summer - just for the sheer joy of it. And many other things!

Well, about anything can make me laugh, but the big things are the unpredictible ones. For example, at a piano recital last year, I was playing (and doing really well), when the grand piano's hatch just shut. It sounded like a bullet had gone off, and it made everyone dunk under their chairs, while I just sat and laughed at the whole thing. It took about ten minutes for my teacher to calm me down and finish my piece. I laughed about it for the rest of the day, and I still laugh when I think about it.

Why do witches burn?
Because they're made of...Wood?
And what else does wood do?
It floats.
And what else floats?
Small pebbles? Ducks!
So if she weighs the same as a duck, then she must be a witch!

I love that movie!!!
I laugh when puppies chase their tails.
And when really serious people mess up and try to stay serious.
Giggles are good!

Saxoness: YES!!!  It was one of my favourite shows growing up! I thought Micheal Crawford played an amazing part.  I truly believed he was on idiot! Now I like Keeping up Appearances....it is a very funny brit show.
