 Ball & Toe There was a man called Balladeer, He’d glug his wine and swill his beer. Toe, his friend, distilled his drink, In the tub and in the sink. Together they would booze all day, Drinking buddies on bales of hay. They’d burp and belch and be uncouth, And neither one e’er told the truth. Flies stuck to their grimy duds, As pigs rolled ‘round the stinkin’ muds. But once they started kissin' hens, Their jilted wives were more than friends! It's true we had a garden spot a way up in the hills. We had the bare necessities and didn't fancy frills. Few ladies came to visit us to fill us with delight But Toerag had a favorite pig that kept him warm at night. He called her Pork Chop Linda and he loved that pig to death. He tried to kiss her once but couldn't tolerate her breath. They spent time in the sty together, frolicked in the mud. He called her his "earth" angel and she called him her big stud. So finally I left. The squealing got to be too loud. I mean, I've done some things in life for which I ain't so proud But Toerag boy and Pork Chop Linda - that just made me wince So I took off three months ago and I ain't been back since!!  |
