               i wanted so bad to win your heart

but i'm a little too sad while we're apart

          to add up the positives of using the art

of rhyming about how glad i was caressing your heart

now i look at other lads when i go to Wal-Mart

                                  they're so lucky

with their girlfriends and wives, fate stuck me

with a pen and a pad, yet poetry is so hard to start

                            without your approval
