Crooked roads, unpaved, wandering aimlessly in circular motions Needleless compass, sailboat rocking, drowning ocean Youthful eyes burn with a need for direction Sitting idle, motionless in the middle of the intersection Tragedy of indecision decides to remain in station No matter what wisdom shall attempt to rock the foundation Tyger chasing tail Failure never chances fail Train on track Constantly derailed No destination No closure Just frustration The journey lingers on in limbo stage What lies at the end of this chapter Just a repeat of the previous page The man who puts too much stock in fate Will live a life in a stale mate Without direction or a plan The path chooses for the man |

Very nicely done! The imagery and semantics were articulate, with the subtle flip from beginning to end drawing my eyes back to the top to read again. |

very nice. good representation of those aimless, hopeless, everything is futile feelings. With a nice hint of determination in the tone of the piece, which makes it sound more mature than the average "life sucks" poem. peace, andrew |
