Walking along with me by my side
No better companion...in me I confide
Look at me...graceful...what beautiful stride
I'm a looker that can't be denied

Once I was spending my days in belief
Our souls were as one, but our happiness brief
You left me to pasture, in search of prime beef
Like a steak in my heart, I could find no relief

Why would I want you beside me to share
The mooooods of my life, when you really don't care
You'll listen pretending we'd make a fine pair
Graze on my dignity, stripping me bare

So I'll hoof it alone, crystal waters my friend
I'm all I need...that's the truth in the end
You see, I've 'got milk' so my heart's on the mend
On myself, I will always depend!
