(Dedicated to my sweet love of my life, Joanna! ) Love At First Sight By: Noah Eaton 9/4/02 Mother used to say to me, "If a child learns with acceptance and friendship, he'll learn to find love in the world!" At first I felt I wasn't deserving Then I saw your eyes, and the heavens gleamed Now every night I smile and sigh Dreaming of holding you like a teddy bear And softly weeping like puppies cuddled up close Strumming the lyre of your hair... And the honeybees swam until they got dizzy On this dance floor of life baroque angels started singing The stars shined in your eyes that would make Venus and Adonis melt and sigh That's when I knew it was love at first sight... These halls used to be crooked and empty Now they sparkle like a Puerto Vallarta vendana when you turn me on You've exchanged my walls I've cried on for Sheratons You've converted this Stonehedge to a palace I belly-dance now to your every rhythm Bounty of destiny, goddess of my life You are my reason, soul, zen, reika My second wind, my second star to the right And the lilies bloomed in the night Your smile filled my mind, it tantalized Whatever you want to be, I will always love you in delight Because with you every day feels like love at first sight... When you kiss me Parakeets twitter dreamily When you hold me Canaries blush with cheeks of strawberries and cream... And the white doves embraced us like a cotton blanket Heaven is missing an angel and I feel so lucky you're the one And you smother my face in cranberry kisses that fill me with squeals of boyish delight It is love at first sight... God must have stayed up all night Spending more time, drenching your lips in wine I'll always be yours, you will always be mine It's love at first sight... "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." Shakira [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (09-04-2002 07:37 PM).] |

Wow, Noah! It only seems such a short time ago I was congratulating you on your 15,000th post. You never cease to amaze me with the depth of feelings you have for your Joanna. I hope you are blessed with the love you so truly deserve. This is for you my friend : "Like the shade of a great tree in the noonday heat is a friend. Like the home port with your country's flag flying after a long journey is a friend. A friend is an inpregnable citadel of refuge in the strife of existence." and this ...... "A man without friends is like a left hand without a right." Take care my friend......Sue I am in motion |

Well... Noah, my friend... I have missed this one... once maybe twice, maybe thrice... but have managed to find it, read it, and be amazed by it... This is excellent stuff... fantastic... I loved this part particularly These halls used to be crooked and empty Now they sparkle like a Puerto Vallarta vendana when you turn me on You've exchanged my walls I've cried on for Sheratons You've converted this Stonehedge to a palace I belly-dance now to your every rhythm Bounty of destiny, goddess of my life You are my reason, soul, zen, reika My second wind, my second star to the right … … And congratulations on the 16000 as well... I have lost count of how many of those were the such wonderful replies to my writings... you do have a kind heart... Thanks for everything; most of all for your presence in these blue halls of friendship... Regards, sudhir |

Noah - my friend, you sure have it bad. It's a wonderful feeling to be in love, and to write about it. You do it very well. I believe you and she will see each other soon... BC |
