I whip stitch sclera of the sky. It's raining gathered glass again. Suspended wine-scent, pressing rose. A fragrant oil ghost, the road. |

Thank you, Linda. I wanted to whip-stitch two like verses together, to create something new. I'm glad you enjoyed. Mike [This message has been edited by bsquirrel (09-03-2002 07:33 PM).] |

Kethry, Thank you... Sharon, I'm ready when you are. Lyra, thank you for enjoying the threads. Martie, the only reason I know the word sclera is because I've had my eyes operated on before ... and, actually, an ex-girlfriend taught the word to me, too, when I forgot it the first time. Tammy, thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed. Mike |

hmmm...."witch sip" seems to have proved a more difficult challenge...at least for the night... truly tho, you and Kari, get the idea of the challenge...in joining of two thoughts to create a whole... Thank you Mikie. I go out there in the world and come home home feeling like an alien--until I come HERE. chuckle...and yes, I mean that as compliment. yer gorgeous, and this is a sand painting. |

brian, I can answer that one. When it first rains in Southern California, all the imbedded dirt and oil of the freeways rises up to the surface, making the roads treacherously slippery (that's in an old, old poem of mine, called rain stones, which includes the line "Glass and lost purchase"). I want rain!!! Serenity, witch sip, hm? Now THERE'S a challenge! I'm gonna try it! (and i know what you mean) Zall, thanks! Mike |
