(This is the first in a series of mermaid poems! Ever since I was a little boy, I have fallen in love with mermaids, which brings me great pleasure to bring you these visions of mermaids and love to you!  )Mermaids Wish By: Noah Eaton 1/26/02 Up high on the rocks just peaking over the sapphire sea A lonely mermaid cries out for her soulmate Her siren screams clash with the tidepull’s timpani With the geisha winds, her passionate cry migrates She longs to be swept away inadvertently To again bring life and color to her deserted coral reef Loves first kiss destined to be her hearts destiny Bringing sparks of ecstacy to all her fleeting dreams Her naked body grows bright in the radiance of the moon Her gorgeous kaleidoscope fins sparkle the oceans aurora She clasps her hands together, praying before her Muse “May my manly love sail to me upon this starry peninsula!” Her brother dolphin snugs up close to her as she cries Hugging her close, knowing that her dreams she seeks will be hers Rising to the moon, this lovely mermaid sadly sighs Yearning for her seafaring lover to lay her dreams anchor… [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (01-26-2002 09:11 PM).] |

im sure you liked the movie Mermaid too..i have a pic on my website of a mermaid..the poem is called Candlelight Bay incase you are interested in seeing the pic..enjoyed sweet guy..hugss ~Vic You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses. |
