Elias walks the fields at night, down hedgerows; through the draws, climbing fences, wading creeks, no stops to give him pause. Ever walking, mile on mile, No route to slow his way, Elias walks the fields at night, Until comes light of day. Elias, son, where have you been? your bed at dawn is made, what is it that you seek at night, on nightly escapade? Ever walking, mile on mile, Amongst the creatures wild, Elias, son, where have you been, where have you been, my child? |

I'm wondering now, where did he go? Is Elias a mythical character? Nicely written, Tim. ![]() God bless America, my home sweet home. |

Ah Tim...this is very good. A father watching his son toss and turn in dream, knowing that he is among all of his adventures, and that he will never be satisfied until he has reached all of his dreams... very, Very well done...it's a keeper... |

Wow. It seems to reflect people, in general. I've always believed that dreams will tell us what we are. In them, we are seeking ourselves. This is so true that its almost sad. Very well written! |
