Elias, son, what do your hear, upon a midnight breeze? A hoot owl's call, the coyote's howl, wind's whisper through the trees? Gentle ripplings of the stream, Cicadas on the wing, Elias, son, what do you hear, do you hear night sing? Elias hears what no man hears, he hears what is not there, Upon his ears fall madrigals, fall songs of beauty rare. Elias hears of rocks and trees, hears hymns of mother earth, Elias hears what no one hears, he hears earth's death and birth. [This message has been edited by Tim (01-19-2002 10:55 PM).] |

The stories of Elias are beautiful, and now that I see there may be more, I am a willing reader, waiting... |

As I said about the first one...So sad... Hearing rain brings joy. But hearing death must be heartbreaking. |
