Half a Song How long then did you look for me, Did you search, or feel, our poetry? Which always seemed but a part, Or did Wind whisper to your heart? comfort me as yet you guide this team of horses that will ride upon the skies of ever when for you shall hear the wind again unrest has been upon this plain until the find of you again, and then the reasons behind these past decades have begun in light, to fade as well to slip between blades of grass those places where our feet have passed now cloak me once more with you and scatter my dreams in your view then allowing one to catch the tear as slowly comes the release of fear to hold the heart that's long held you through all trials, tribulations, too to face again the wind's caress to know that strangeness is welcome, blessed to feel, but not, the care once there to hear again your voice on air... for in this epoch of the now of then I come willing to you again in better times that led to now I'll once again give you my vow to make all that is yours be blessed of kiss for in my shadows, you still exist... In tribute to a muse... |

In tendering to your requests perhaps now it would be best to say not a sequel that should be but a challenge for more poetry let all the poets for sequel's delight pen the other half to this song's write for on the winds, it shall be shown how far true hearts would truly roam... |

Probably one of the most moving pieces of work I have ever read. A masterpiece! Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

as well to slip between blades of grass those places where our feet have passed now cloak me once more with you and scatter my dreams in your view I'm so glad I didn't miss this. Awesome calling here..just simply magnificent! The stanza above caught me completely as I imagined the dreamer, lying in a grassy field with nothing to cloud them but the clouds and the sunlight. Bravo!!!! Every line...sublime. Sincerely, Regina |
