Upon Entrance To the Grand Queen AtlantiSea She felt she were tugboated... Bloated with ordinary The sights surrounding her Were extravagant beyond her dreams Crystal dripped from the ceilings The floor mirrored, marblelade Gold leaf ornamentation Doric columns replicating Atlantis’ ruins, imaginary crepe The outside was a cruise ship The inside was the treasure of forty thieves Silk damask bowed heavily to `Agra carpets worthy Of Taj Mahal Adorning every portal of landing With magical floating stalled Bronzed statues fronded each passageway Surely she was in a place Where no man had ever lived But simply dreamed She sighed inward Imagining herself As the most glorious sculpture Michelangelo would finesse Enveloping herself in the white light Of confidence and chiseled cast Breaking the ice with each passerby By winking willowy lashes As a starlet surely would Her charm was working as it should Edwardo skimmed her lower back Escorting her into the Casino Where Mitchell Raines Stood in noble pose Eye contact Brought them both to the fullness Of peripheral vision Meeting him...would be so very nice Tonight. Right eye browing interest As the duty of introduction Was expertly placed in the air He bowed a Knightly nod In Tailed Tuxedoed stare “Mr. Mitchell Raines I would like you to meet My vision this evening Miss Pearl Hensley Of the late Mr. Jackson Hensley, The oil magnate Who departed us Leaving the world his Gem, His most precious Daughter!” She caught the flash of knifing In his Dark lashed eyes Even with her hand laced in his own She knew...something was not quite the pleasure As if a surmising surprise Widened the gap Between his portals of night When he stumbled on her name She knew... As Pearl...was easy to retain So the Hensley...fed his thoughts She pondered the reason Of the minute restraint Accepting his request To dance in the Grandest of a ballroom’s chance Edwardo had permissioned As he begged the pardon to watch As he would...all night long The sea offered little To his heavy position Even as his entourage listened To his every call He was beginning to turn green With sea sickness?...No... An experience he’d not redeemed In a long while.. He banefully smiled /pip/Forum51/HTML/002769.html~1~ /pip/Forum51/HTML/002885.html ~2~ /pip/Forum51/HTML/002959.html~3~ /pip/Forum51/HTML/002985.html ~4~ /pip/Forum51/HTML/003069.html ~5~ /pip/Forum51/HTML/003064.html ~6~ |

BRAVO!!! OH MY GOSH, REGINA, I LOVE THIS STORY!!! (smiles) You describe the Queen Atlantisea and the lounge so descriptively and beautiful, as well as both the charm and the darkness behind each character's face. (smiles) I LOVE IT!!! Oh my gosh, I'm just hanging onto my chair, dying to find out what happens next! I LOVE IT!!! (kiss on cheek) More, more! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Regina, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Ooooh, it's gonna get scary. Is she gonna be okay? She will be alright won't she? She has to be, this is a story, and stories always have happy endings....don't they??? If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

I feel as if I'm walking a line of serpentine chain...gold weaving of words in a continued maze of a "spy's" allure. Robert "Willie Breezin" |

The imagery in this just sparkled! Your poetic license took hold and just sung this part along...I esp. liked "marblelade"...terrific! [This message has been edited by Sunshine (edited 11-25-2001).] |
