BLUE FLAME The sun blazes down baking all around It's the middle of this world's summer Rivers seem to vanish into the ground Not leaving the slightest trace of vapour Heat shimmers in the air of the desert Radiating from the sands that glistens Making even breathing a great effort While straining to hear a breeze she listens She sits proudly on her chestnut stallion Gazing over the rolling hills of sand Waiting the signal, calling to action That she ride forth and protect her homeland She feels the magic to which she holds claim Glowing eyes and ancient sword called Blue Flame Karen Torbiak 2001© Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |
