We are little fishes assigned to flow a certain direction Society dictates that we score distinctions, secure scholarships, attend IVY league schools, take up prestigious professions, roll in wealth and power An inclination, almost compulsion to travel the wide conventional path I join heartily and can only imagine the bliss that might have been mine if i had the guts to choose the N A R R O W path |

Ooooh, faterider, this must be to respond to the challenge I put up...inclination to travel the wide path. Well done!!! So, does that mean you have or are going for an ivy league education? You know, that can come into great use on the narrow path as well. Probably very great use. |

I like what you did with this challenge line. It IS almost a compulsion to follow the wider path! The format of your poem really adds to your message. Debbie |

VAS, i won't consider my university an IVY league school but well i am threading the conventional path...your thought about how my university education will help me on the narrow path intrigues me...i never thought of it that way before...thanx a bunch for your reply... i am glad that this was found to be insightful, being the rather childish, don't-careish person that i am....such positive feedback makes me yearn to write even more... dg, its sooo good to hear from you...you take care also, yup??? thanx all |
