Here's our answer to the Blood and rainbows challenge! -Mike

Blood and rainbows
The light falls red as Sunday sea,
blushed deep from beneath the calm of soft purpled warmth.
Soft fingers of mountains spread through the sky.
Trickles of aqua life soothing parched sighs.

Like blood in his hands, the light drips softly,
casting lime upon the hills.
Rolling green in waves touching blue.
In waves turning back to black of starred night.

Twinkling ever bright, diamond impressions upon his eyes.
Like a mirror pool wept, he turns away again.
The rose & thorn of her existence in vain.
She draws rainbows across his thoughts.

He sifts gold dust into her cloudy days with a single kiss.
Sometimes his words are hammered rain. She breaks under their weight.
She reaches into the sunset for the brilliance of his arms
and finds her blood grow hotter, the closer to his burn.

She paints him with desire until moon fades to sun...
and they, two rainbows, stretch across the evening's calm.

She said burn ... together.

This is really cool, I think I can kinda, sorta tell who is who here.

Though I know that line never would have come to me if not for what Tiersdin had written before. It was very much a team effort -- even the individual parts to inspire each other to the next line.
