Your finely crafted verses play a tune
And splash across the canvas of my mind
A picturesque fair wood or sandy dune;
I’ve seen the world through phrases you’ve designed.
Your pen has caused my tears to freely flow
Cascading falls from sorrows that you share
And wisdom gleaned, on me, you do bestow
You gift my soul because you truly care.
A healing balm I’ve found in clever wit
My burdened heart set free once more to fly
Aloft again in ever graceful flit
Your gentle words, the breeze that lifts me high.

A symphony you softly play for me
Upon the page when you write poetry.

Denise, you're on a roll with beautiful poetry!  Into the library this goes! You have captured what many of us feel when reading fine poetry, this is such a perfect tribute to words...I really love this, your pen is blessed and what a symphony it is!  The graphic was an excellent touch

Take care,
Melissa~

Gorgeous, Denise, akin to Beethoven's ninth, I would say.

Denise,

This is a work of art...a fine sonnet.
