My music taste's eclectic most music soothes my soul as long as it's electric it's the muse that makes me whole I like rap and jazz to celebrate classics, hip hop, rock and roll although I, the lyrics mutilate and I sing just like a Troll There are things I can't do wrong and things I cannot be encapsulated in one song is very hard, you see So I will choose a bevy of songs that I can mix to highlight my great beauty and if it's wrong,... please fix. The first would have to be... "Sorry" then "please forgive me" is my creed it is a constant worry that for re-assurance I must plead The next would be Pink Floyd but not "wish you were here" and I think I would avoid beer drinking songs of cheer "Momentary lapse", best shows my fun when manic or sincere and I could be your "Sunny" one or "Brandy" for a year. "Ravel's Bolero" is my beat and to it I will dance while "Hot Town" is my summer's heat when full blown with romance But the thing that lifts me tall that best portrays my complex waves is not a song, or words at all, it's a group called "Medieval Babes" < !signature--> "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- [This message has been edited by Kethry (edited 09-24-2000).] |

Kethry~ You captured all my feelings to the core as well! In fact I am right now losing myself in Pink Floyd's "Shine on You Crazy Diamond". Good writing great illustration! |

Hi Kethry... So glad to hear you like Pink Floyd!!!! How about the Moody Blues? Then there is Kitaro, who sounds a whole lot like PF. Anyway......love your poem and it's music sings out to me.... Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! [This message has been edited by Sunny1 (edited 09-26-2000).] |

Kethry I really like this, it's amazing, astounding and really great. I was going to put a load more gushing in but it's late, so I'll just say I REALLY LIKE THIS POEM. (you can tell I know, you seem like the perceptive type) Marsha |

Kethry... This is just a note to apologize for sticking a overly large gif in my original reply. It was too big, took too much time to load, and slowed down your posts. I thought it would be cute, but not at your poem's expense. I'm sorry...please accept my apology, as this poem deserves to be at the top! Sunny Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

Angelwings, it's hard not to like Pink Floyd they have such style. My favourite song from them would have to be Us and Them my least favourite album is Umma Gumma (which I believe I could have done see verse 2 lines 3&4 for a reference) Sunny1 Yeah I like Moody Blues and Radiohead, and REM and Stones, and Icehouse, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood and what's that really strange one oh yeah Elton John. I haven't heard Kitaro but will look out for him/her/them. Marsha, you can gush on me anyday. Thanks. Sven thanks for compliment. Glad to in a class with you. Sunny1 Sorry your gif, got gifted off. Kethry, I'm glad Kari called this back I can gush some more. I really love this one, I remember when I read it thinking I must put that in my library, and then I didn't. (Head like a sieve you know) So I will this time. I've written it on a post it and stuck it on the screen. I remember Icehouse, they had one song that I adore, it's called Crazy, Oh how I love that song. Take care and thanks Kari for fetching this one Slushy Mushy Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
